Christopher K. Teng

Christopher K. Teng is an internationally trained lawyer representing domestic and international businesses in litigation and business transactions. He is admitted to practice in California and has been qualified for admission in New Zealand.
Chris' creative problem-solving abilities enable him to successfully and efficiently litigate matters to favorable conclusions. His engineering background allows him to handle matters such as product liability lawsuits involving highly complex technical issues. His commercial practice includes breach of contract, real estate and business disputes. Chris also practices in the areas of estate planning and immigration.
On business matters, Chris handles all types of business transactions related to real estate, secured transactions, corporate and employment matters. Chris has assisted many clients in the business formation process, including advising on entity selection and corporate governance. Chris also advises businesses regarding pre-litigation strategies and litigation avoidance.
Chris was born and raised in Singapore, and attended law school in the United Kingdom. Chris' cultural sensitivity enables him to navigate the complex issues that come with a culturally diverse community and clientele. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Fujian (Taiwanese).
He is a member of the Singapore American Business Association, National Association of Asian American Professionals, the Asian American Business Association and the FF Fraternity. He was a Barrister member of the Robert G. McGrath American Inn of Court and a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. Chris is also a member of the International Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association. Chris was also a former treasurer of the International Law Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association. Chris is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California.
