Theresa Baumgartner

Theresa Baumgartner was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 2004. She joined Guichard, Teng & Portello in 2006 and practices in the areas of civil litigation, family law, and trust and estates. Theresa grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed her undergraduate degree in Physical Education at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She completed her master's degree in Sports and Fitness Management at the University of San Francisco and earned a juris doctorate degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. Theresa interned for the Oakland Raiders' Legal Department while she attended law school. After graduation she clerked for a law firm in Marin County primarily working with family law related issues. Prior to joining GTP, Theresa worked as an associate attorney for a firm practicing in the areas of trust and estates, trust litigation, guardianships and conservatorships. Theresa is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Theresa attended Gonzaga University on an Athletic Scholarship and played for the Women's Basketball team. While in attendance, she was recognized as a scholar athlete by the University. Prior to attending Gonzaga, she competed on a Northern California team, representing the United States in China. Theresa is still involved in the sport and currently coaches several girls youth teams in the area.
